Our chapel dating back to the 17th century is often shown in the media due to its idyllic location. It offers a personal touch in an unparalleled landscape for romantic weddings or baptisms. Small conferences, seminars as well as every type of festivity are individually planned and attended to conscientiously. We can also organise beer-tent events for up to 300 people in the surrounding area with our in-house catering service.

Several times a week classical concerts featuring renowned artists and young, up-and-coming talents take place in the ballroom at Schloss Elmau, with its incredible acoustics. There are also poetry readings, lectures as well as Elmau dances and folkdances. The Elmau festivals with predominantly classical music, as well as the Jazz festival “Jazztival” with celebrated jazz musicians from around the globe, all enjoy an international reputation.
